About Us
Our Story
Our story starts with our dad, Robert Rodriguez, who paved the way for all of it. Coming from a line of fruit growers, we were raised working on our family citrus farms and growing watermelons back in South Texas. He taught us to love agriculture, hard work, and building something of our own.
Our dad used to drive 18-wheelers full of produce into Houston, supplying stores and our own small mercado downtown. Our customers felt like family, so we helped them with whatever we could. That's where it all began.
Through a conversation with someone from the community, we found a promising opportunity in Rosehill.
In 2009, we rented an open corner and set up a humble fruit stand.
Our early success meant it was time to go bigger, and that's when we started our first annual pumpkin patch alongside a variety of plants.
That first patch grew into Rosehill Pumpkins, a full pumpkin destination for homeowners, businesses, and families.
